Well, maybe a tiny one: probably she doesn’t even understand what she’s singing about, but the lyrics strangely fit if one can believe all the rumours. If your musical taste is anywhere near the Britney Spears – Avril Lavigne et al. level, you might enjoy the song, if not, better not watch this clip. :)

June 5th, 2009
I’m not really someone who likes to plan ahead, most of the time I’ve long lost interest in those things when the date finally gets closer. And now I’m looking at the dates for the next three years of my life, which have already been fixed. I can see when I’m going to be back

Remember, Remember the 5th of November
Whoever wrote this dialogue was a genius. :) Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and

Now it’s up to you :)
I feel like trying something different and here’s what I’ve on my mind: I propose three short paragraphs to you and you can tell me which one should be the beginning of a short-story. If you don’t like any of the three, feel free to suggest another one. :) 1. He was standing in front

Stumble – A Reprise
You sit in front of the screen and stare at this virtually blank page. Your life is absent without leave, your thoughts scurried off to another world. You’re too tired to have the illusion of the letters on your keyboard dancing. Everything around you sounds louder and moves slower. It’s perhaps that girl you saw

What happened on March 28th?
Go to www.wikipedia.com and look up your birth day (excluding the year). List three neat facts, two births and one death in your journal, including the year. Events 1910 – Henri Fabre becomes the first person to fly a seaplane after taking off from a water runway near Martigues, France. 1930 – Constantinople and Angora

Stolen (?)
Suicidal Tendencies: I saw your mommy… Puddle of Mudd: She hates me These two songs just coincidentally played right one after the after and I noticed something I didn’t notice before: did Puddle of Mudd steal the guitar riffs of Suicidal Tendencies’ song? I never thought of Puddle of Mudd as ingenious, but I didn’t

Softwareproblem
Got this by email: Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren!

Brian – A Fragment
The last snow was falling on the dead trees when Michael left his house that morning. He smiled seeing Jane talking to the little boy who brought her the newspaper. He still didn’t know the boy’s name after having lived in this small suburb of Montreal for half a year. Her laughter made him forget

Inane (II)
Molten metal dropping down a burnt cheek, Bleeding bullet holes in the corner of an eye, Mouldered lungs breathing noisily in a haze, Pierced girl under a putrid tree. A half-dead creeping past Incinerated children he once knew, A hopeless weeping through The mortal remains of defunct people. Some are breathing fire and brimstones, Much

It sounds so true it’s sad…
Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn’t it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can

Wanderlust
I’m so looking forward to the end of April… The sun is the frontlighting on your face, Behind the deep blue sea Where it might be, That which you are looking for. It’s shining from far away, But feels so close. Slowly, your sandcastle is taken away, You’re left stranded by the tide. The small

G-rated? Probably not.
Have you ever wondered why no German or French free tv has dared to broadcast The L Word so far? Simple: this show breaks all the rules. Yes, that is Alan Cumming (X-Men 2)!

You are x, I am y. Period.
La follia in uno, nessuno e centomila, that is how one could resume Pirandello’s theory. Luigi Pirandello, who was an Italian dramatist and poet, won the Nobel prize in 1934. At the basis of his theory is the observation that nothing in the world is fixed, everything undergoes transformations all the time. We humans however

The Da Vinci Code
The second full-length trailer is online! Check it out! The soundtrack seems going to be great, and so does almost everything else, but what a stupidity to put one of the most important key scenes into the trailer!

J’en ai marre
What a shitty day. There’s someone I might hit for making me the present of a cough, cold and everything else. Oh, and I got my hands on the new Marisa Monte album. But that is great. :)

Alex and Dell
Some of you might know that I’m a huge fan of Alex Albrecht, so I was quite surprised when I found out today that he has appeared in a Dell commercial – hilarious! That guy is definitely crazy (in a positive way). :) Dell.wmv (please use right click -> save as…) (For those of you
