I don’t have the energy left to write it all again, so here’s the official complaint I just filed. The Advice Shop is already closed, meaning I have to wait for tomorrow morning in order to be able to talk to them and stop the withdrawal process (meaning as I didn’t return the form, they considered me to not wanting to continue my studies and have already set in motion my withdrawal). Do I have to say that I would so love to punch someone till they fall to the floor, bleeding, kick them in the stomach till they’re screaming, spit on them and then smash a chair on their face?!
Dear Mr …,
on January 15th, 2007 Mr …, Administrative Assistant of the Department of Humanities and Languages in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, sent me a mail in which he asked me to return the form attached thereto by January 23rd, 2007 at the latest in order to confirm my modules, so that I could be graded correctly.
On February 5th then, Mr … sent me a reminder and kindly extended the deadline to return the form onto February 12th, 2007.
Although I had checked my mail several times since mid January, both these letters only reached me today, March 22nd, 2007.I am therefore filing this official complain, asking if you would be as kind as to investigate this matter. I am sure you will understand that this issue is of an utmost importance, as it has taken over two months for an official, and very crucial, letter from the University to reach me. I am now losing time trying to resolve this matter at the Advice Shop – time I would indeed need to spend working on my essays. As you will surely understand, having to deal with such an issue when the assessment deadlines are approaching is not at all what a student should be concerned with.
I hope you will look into this matter and be able to prevent such a thing from happening again. Please understand that I shall contact you again should there be a problem with the administrative staff in Forest Hall not believing that Mr …’s letters both reached me too late.
Best regards,
Thierry Heles
this sounds very cool indeed, hope this resolves promptly and without hiccups
